NBA 2K24 || Cover Athlete Revealed! And its Kobe Bryant

The cover of NBA 2K24's special editions will feature the late basketball great Kobe Bryant.

NBA 2k24 will be released in September, just like prior iterations of the game, continuing the pattern from previous years, with release starting September 10th. Pre-orders for the game start on July 7th, which is fortunate for fans who can't wait to get their hands on it.

NBA 2k23, one of the earlier editions of the game, was released in numerous versions, with four being available last year. Players could purchase the "Jordan edition," which included a cover with a Michael Jordan motif, in addition to the standard Devin Booker version.

NBA 2k24 is anticipated to have two editions, while it is unknown if any other athletes except Kobe Bryant will be on the cover. The improved "Kobe Edition" is anticipated to include VC (Virtual Currency), but the normal edition is likely to have merely the game.

It pays loving homage to the tragically deceased 18-time All-Star, five-time NBA World Champion, and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist. The many Bryant supporters who have been calling for his participation on this year's cover are delighted with 2K Sports' decision.

Fans were on the edge of their seats, however, as rumours suggested other potential options, such as Nikola Jokic, a two-time NBA MVP and the 2022–23 NBA Champion, up to the official announcement of Bryant's pick.
