Dani Ceballos' transfer situation and what Arsenal and Unai Emery want

As per reports in England, Arsenal manager Unai Emery is trying to sign Dani Ceballos on a permanent deal from Real Madrid. The Real Madrid loanee has impressed at the Emirates and Emery has certainly recognized his talent. 

The former Sevilla and Valencia boss wants him at the Emirates as he plans for the future of the club. The Spanish play-maker has featured for the Gunners in all, but one, of their 11 games this season and his form has been impressive.  

Arsenal's hopes of keeping him beyond the agreed loan spell was dealt a major blow, as the 23-year-old had previously revealed that he still wants to fulfill his dream of succeeding at Real Madrid. He never had the proper chance to excel at Real Madrid following his big move from Real Betis. He is still young and definitely has the potential to become a star at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

Despite Ceballos' determination to succeed at Real Madrid, it is reported that Emery is making plans to make the Spaniard stay in north London, as he is very much impressed by the player. 

Los Blancos allowed Ceballos to join Arsenal on a season-long loan, as he was deemed surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu. However, the Arsenal hierarchy and Emery both know that Real Madrid will be reluctant to part ways with such a talented young player so quickly. 

Ceballos insisted at the time of his Arsenal loan move that he made his move to the Emirates to play on a regular basis. This was mainly due to the fact that he wanted to be named in Robert Moreno's Spanish national side for Euro 2020. 

He was seemingly frustrated due to lack of playing time at Real and made the move to England to make his bid for a first-team spot at Real Madrid and Spain stronger. 

The La Liga giants had a busy summer with plenty of signings, but the overhaul is far from finished. They still need a major revamp in midfield, with star players like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos aging. 

There is a decent chance that Ceballos' talent might not get unnoticed by Zinedine Zidane and the Real Madrid board, meaning bad news for Arsenal. At the age of just 23, neither Real Madrid nor Ceballos are likely to give up on each other just yet, but anything can happen in the world of football
