Top scorers of the Euro 2024 qualifiers
Teams and players are working hard to book their places in the Euro 2024 which will take place in Germany from 14 June till 14 July. 3-time winner, Germany will be hoping to add one more trophy in their cabinet being the host nation. Euro 2020 winner Italy will be defending the crown, With nations like Romania, Albania, Hungary, and Slovenia being the underdog toppers of their groups respectively.
Forwards from different nations have been in sublime form helping the countries to finish on top of their respective groups. Midfielders have gone on to become more advanced with time and have transformed the traditional playing style of ball providers into a much more scoring one, which has made them take entry among forwards in the list of top scorers this time out.
ROMELU LUKAKU (BELGIUM)– 9

RASMOS HOJLUND (DENMARK)– 6
The next star in the making for Manchester United, the Scandinavian has not had the most prolific start to his club career for the Reds. An injury in the beginning disrupted his start but after his return, he has shown some quality moments where the fans can believe he can be the number 9 they want. On the other hand, his record for the Danish team has been exceptional with 6 goals in 7 games in the qualifiers, let’s hope he carries the same form for his club side too.
ZEKI AMDOUNI (SWITZERLAND)– 6
The 22-year-old from Switzerland is not much of a familiar name but has been in the news for quite some time. Recently switched his trade for the newly promoted Premier League side Burnley, Vincent Kompany wanted a proving forward. SCOTT MCTOMINAY (SCOTLAND)– 6
The driving for of the Scottish Midfield is on a mission of guiding his country towards the qualification stage. So far out the blue and whites are second only to Denmark with 4 points apart but with Mctominay in fine form, it’d be easier for them to qualify. For club, he has a goal per game (7) and for his country, he has 6 goals and 2 assists in 6 games. The prolific striker is in the news with his links to Real Madrid but for now, he has a point to make for his current club and country.
ERLING HAALAND (NORWAY)– 6
A record breaker in the making, the Norway international is on a mission to change history. A bright start for his club career with clubs for Redbull Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund, and currently Manchester City, the 6 feet 4 hasn’t stopped scoring at all. Probably the most lethal number 9 at present, he has 6 goals in 5 games for his country in the ongoing Euro 2024 qualifiers and 8 goals in 8 for his club side. If he keeps his form running, Norway might go one up to Turkey who are just 3 points ahead of them in Group G.
HARRY KANE (ENGLAND)– 5
The new Bayern Munich number 9 has adapted to life well in Bavaria. After 9 seasons with Tottenham Hotspur, becoming a club legend and a captain before scoring the striker went to Germany for a staggering 100 million pounds. 12 involvements (8 goals and 4 assists) in just 7 games for his club, the England captain has carried the same for his Country as well with 5 goals and 2 assists in 5 games. England will certainly be counting on him for silverware this time out.
GIORGOS MASOURAS (GREECE)- 5
The 29-year-old from Greece might not be the most heard name in the world but the Olympiacos forward has started to build a name for himself after his good display for the Greece national team. With 5 goals in 6 matches he’s for his country he has shown intent of helping his team qualify. The Greeks are just below France and chased by the Netherlands in a bid to avoid Playoffs in the Euro 2024 Qualifiers.
