Galatasaray vs Real Madrid: Champions League Preview and Prediction

Galatasaray will lock their horns with Real Madrid in the matchday three of the Champions League Group A at  Türk Telekom Stadium, tonight.

Los Blancos are facing a big issue right now as they are at the bottom of the Group A and it's quite shocking to see the 13 times UCL winners at such position. Another defeat might end their current UCL season, which means that this is a must win fixture for Real.

Also, the team’s morale is not very good right now. Last Sunday, Real Madrid visited Real Mallorca in matchweek nine of La Liga 2019/20. Real suffered their first La Liga loss as they were defeated 0-1 by Lago Junior's only goal in the 7th minute. 

In the same match, Real Madrid right-back Alvaro Odriozola was sent off after a challenge on Lago Junior. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois proceeded to criticize the 23-year-old Spanish on the incident.

"I think he touched the ball for the first yellow," Courtois said. "But the second is fair. I don't think that with a card he should have made that foul. But it's because of adrenaline."

Nevertheless, the team has been rejuvenated with the return of some main players after a number of injuries that have plagued them. Apart from that, Los Blancos have performed quite well in La Liga as they have only suffered one loss so far.

This match, however, will not be easy for Real Madrid as Galatasaray are also desperate for a win to get out of the third position from the Group A. Losing this match will see move them at the bottom of the table. The Turkish side will try to make effective use of their home advantage therefore, it is believed that both teams will score goals.
