Julian Naglesmann is set to replace Antonio Conte at Spurs

North London club Tottenham Hotspurs announce the departure of Antonio Conte from the club. After overspeaking in the press conference, the Italian manager ordered huge trouble on his shoulders which ended with him and the club mutually terminating the contract.

Many footballing pundits like Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher stated that the sack of Conte was deliberate and obvious.

Antonio Conte is the kind of manager who always finishes at the top, he wouldn't satisfy finishing fourth or fifth place in the league and Champions League football is also a major concern for the Italian manager. Many people accused him of inviting this sacking which is now been termed as the mutual termination of the contract.

Antonio Conte pointed out how there's a lack of hunger and desire to fight for the top spot in the team.

As well as he mentions how eleven selfish players are playing when they go on the pitch, and he claims that the Spurs don't look like a team.

He also talks about the infidelity of their Italian owner Daniel Levy who just keeps snubbing the managers and purchases players without any long-term vision or objective. This didn't only trigger the owner but also offended players resulting in the demand for the sacking of the former Chelsea man.

Tottenham is currently placed fourth in the Premier League and has got knocked out of all competitions this season with their recent exit coming in the Champions League where they failed to beat AC MILAN. Even winning Premier League seems like a distant dream.

Although there's nothing to look forward to this season for Spurs fans, one thing they can be excited about is the appointment of the new captain for their ever-drowning footballing ship.

There are plenty of names emerging to fill in the new role of head coach at Tottenham Hotspurs. Luis Enrique, Marc Silva, Zinedene Zidane and many others. But amongst all of them recently sacked Bayern Munich head coach Julian Naglesmann seems to be the most obvious contender to fill in the position of manager at the North London club.

Julian Naglesmann who was the coach of FC Bayern Munich won all the games at the Champions League this season, but Bayern being second in Bundesliga raised several questions about his managerial abilities as with much better squad depth than Dortmund, Naglesmann failed to deliver the results at the group stage. That's the reason why Naglesmann got sacked by FC Bayern Munich and in a surprising turn of events former Dortmund and Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel got appointed by the Bayern board of directors.

There are a lot of speculations regarding the appointment of a new manager at Spurs, even though Naglesmann seems to be the most obvious option, Daniel Levy the owner of the club is a bit strange personality and his moves are always out of the box. We may also expect an unknown new face to get land as the new manager of the club.
