Juventus Boss Maurizio Sarri keen to raid London-based clubs

Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri is ready to return to London with a plan for a three-player raid on his former employers, Chelsea and their rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Reports in Italy claim that Sarri is keen on poaching N’Golo Kante and Emerson Palmieri from the Blues. He also has his eyes on Spurs play-maker and contract rebel, Christian Eriksen, whose deal with the north London giants ends next summer. 

Sarri has made a fine start at his new club Juventus, winning six games and drawing once to sit on top of Serie A. The reigning Italian league winners are expected to face a serious title challenge this season, unlike most of the recent campaigns. 

With Antonio Conte back in Italy with Internazionale, the Nerazzurri look much stronger and could take the title race down to the last wire. The Italian manager has a great track record and is a serial winner and Sarri looks to have acknowledged that and is exploring every avenue to make his team stronger. 

It’s said that the French World Cup winner Kante is high on Sarri’s shopping list, after starring under the Italian last season. The Frenchman is one of the best midfielders in the world and in fact, his game even got better under Sarri. 

Before Sarri, Kante was seen as more of a ball-winning midfielder who hardly contributed in the attack. Despite that, the Italian turned him into an all-action midfielder and Frank Lampard is following the same path as well. Kante is the dream of any manager in the world and it's hardly a surprise that Sarri, one of his former managers, would be eager to reunite with such an excellent footballer. 

Emerson Palmeri is also wanted by the Juventus manager. It was Sarri who signed the Italian full-back at Chelsea from AS Roma and thrust into the side ahead of Marcos Alonso at the beginning of 2019. 

The 25-year-old helped Sarri secure his first trophy in football by starring in the 4-1 Europa League final victory over Arsenal in May. The Italian international would be a great competition for Juve's injury-prone left-back Alex Sandro. 

Last but not the least, Christian Eriksen and that too for free. Which manager in the world would not want such a massive deal to happen without paying a penny? Juventus have a track record of getting the best free transfers done and that could once again happen, if they can sign Eriksen on a free, but they are likely to face a lot of competition in order to pull off this deal given the quality of the player for nothing.
