Kevin Durant, popularly known as KD or the Slim Reaper, was a prodigy since his early days in high school basketball. He ended up in the All-American team by the time he was a senior. 

Committing himself to the University of Texas, KD would go on to dominate the college basketball scene as well before he would be drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics in 2007, as a second overall pick in the NBA Draft. 

When Durant arrived in the NBA, his team was extremely weak and he was the only star in it. Kevin Durant won the NBA Rookie of the Year award before his team would move to Oklahoma and form the OKC Thunders.
