Manchester city star Leroy Sane reportedly "pressing" a move to Bayern Munich

As half the season is over, the injured winger looks set to seal a transfer to the Bavarians in the upcoming January transfer window.

Leroy Sane is rumored to leave Manchester City according to German newspaper Bild. He also wishes to feature for Bayern as soon as possible.

The German is currently on a recovery process from an ACL injury he sustained in the Community Shield at the advent of the 2019/20 season. He was expected to be in the starting lineup for the Cityzens by the first week of February.

Things have become a little complicated as Sane is adamant to return to his homeland and play for Bayern Munich. His mega money move was blocked by Pep Guardiola at the start of the season and now the Blues face a dilemma whether to keep the German International or not.

They will not let him off unless Bayern arrive with a suitable offer. Six months ago, when the Bavarians contacted the Cityzens' hierarchy for a possible transfer, they slapped a price tag of 100 million euros for their key man.

But now the sum has reportedly increased to 150 million euros but Bayern will ask City to cut off the price due to the injury that the player has faced in recent time.

Bayern President Uli Hoeness is still confident that he will sign the winger at any cost but there will be a tug of war to pull the youngster on either side. Manchester city is willing to offer Sane a contract extension but it is unsure whether the player will nod his head to lend his services for the English club.

Sane's deal currently runs down to the end of the season and if Bayern make a move for the talisman then it would mean a marvelous piece of business.
