Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United was herculean; they were the best team to dominate England. The Scotsman was first appointed Manchester United manager in 1986 and since then he led the club to 38 trophies, winning 13 Premier League titles, 5 FA Cups, and 2 UEFA Champions League Titles.

He retired from management at the end of the 2012-13 season winning the Premier League in his final season.

David Moyes was appointed the new manager of the club after the departure of Sir, Alex Ferguson, under Moyes Reign the club won the Community shield.

Nonetheless, the team struggled in the league and other competitions, faced some of the worst defeats under Moyes, Moyes who had a six-year contract with the team was sacked within a year.

Ryan Giggs was assigned the role for the remaining games, later he went on to become the assistant manager of Manchester United when Louis Van Gaal given the new role as a manager.

Manchester United had a great start under him winning the 2014 International Champions final 3–1 against rivals Liverpool.

Van Gaal had a positive start as a manager; Van Gaal claimed he would get United's mojo back. United Had a similar situation as they had under Moyes, losing their opening premier league match under Van Gaal.

They suffered some shocking defeat, as the season progressed United's form redeemed winning straight ten matches which lasted for some moments. Resurrecting rumors of him resigning from the club.

After two seasons at Old Trafford, the Dutch manager was sacked by the Red Devils despite winning the FA Cup final

When Jose Mourinho was appointed the new manager, hopes arose among United fans, hoping the special one will lead United to glory days.

In United, he won three trophies, one of the big trophies Mourinho won Europa League. Everything seemed perfect under Mourinho.

Re-building Man United was a challenging task, since Sir, Alex Ferguson, every manager tried to fill that void, though they immensely failed.

During 2018-19 season United losing their two opening league games, only seven wins in the first 17 Premier League games, with 19 points behind the league leaders, Mourinho was sacked by the club on 18 December 2018.

Inheritance of broken United

After the abrupt sacking of Jose Mourinho united appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjær as caretaker manager.

Solskjær started his first match as caretaker manager with 5-1 victory against Cardiff after which United went on to win their next five consecutive games, which made Solskjær the first manager of Manchester United to win the Premier League Manager of the month for January 2019 since Ferguson.

Man United saw rapid progress under Solskjær. Picking up 25 points since his appointment, Solskjær became first ever manager in the Premier League to earn more points than any other in his first nine games in charge of a single club in the Premier League.

In their UCL campaign, United won their first, match against PSG, and won only three games in their next fixtures, finishing third in the table, which saw them fall from UCL to UEL, Manchester United had a good start in the UCL until indiscretion got the better of them.

After their exit from UCL, Manchester United saw a drastic improvement in their game; the team recorded ten consecutive away league wins becoming the fourth side in Premier League history to do so.
