Brazilian star forward hits back at Paris Saint Germain
Neymar issued a rallying cry on social media just a day after criticizing Paris Saint-Germain over the management of his rib injury.
The Brazil star missed four games before returning to score in Tuesday’s Champions League last 16-defeat at Borussia Dortmund.
Neymar was then seen voicing his displeasure at being on the sidelines, insisting that he was all fit enough to be a part of the games he missed and he also blamed the club for being too cautious.
Neymar said, “It is hard after four games without playing. It was not my choice not to play, the club took this decision. The club made this decision with the medical team. I wanted to play, I felt good."
"The club were afraid and it is I who suffers from it.” Neymar was seen using a different tone on Twitter on Wednesday, though, asking for trust in PSG as they aim to turn around the Dortmund tie.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel also had his say on Neymar following the UCL defeat. He was pretty convinced with Mbappe but felt that Neymar lacked rhythm and competition.
PSG now host Dortmund for the return fixture on March 11. However, there are matches that are scheduled before the UCL game.
The French champions face Bordeaux, Dijon and Strasbourg and also have a Coupe de France semi-final to play with rivals Lyon.
Neymar, who lacked ‘rhythm’ will most probably be a part of all the games ahead unless he is down again injured.
The game against Dortmund will be an interesting one as the first leg had enough spark with Haaland scoring a brace and breaking some more records for his new team.
There was another star, who seemed to impress Neymar. Jadon Sancho, who was seen in great touch during the game and impressed all the home fans like he always does.
