Tsitsipas vs Sinner:  Barcelona Open Game Analysis

Having won his last eight matches in straight sets each, Tsitsipas is in red-hot form and continuing his exploits at Barcelona Open post a maiden ATP Masters title triumph in Monte Carlo last week.

With his impressive court coverage and all-round game, the Greek who is blessed with solid shot-making skills can force his opponents to commit a series of unforced errors.

Jannik Sinner has displayed no nerves against the top players. With two consecutive victories against higher-ranked opponents like Roberto Bautista Agut and Rublev, the Italian is peaking at the right time in Barcelona Open.

Sinner targets his opponents on their weaker backhand and unleashes his strong forehand to grab a lot of points.

Stefanos Tsitsipas can unsettle Jannik Sinner with his deep groundstrokes by operating effectively from the baseline. Sinner can trouble the Greek with his foot speed in the semi-final of the Barcelona Open. It has been a dream year for him so far after making his debut in the top-20 of the ATP rankings.

Tsitsipas has been the most consistent player in recent times and he is also aiming for a top 3 finish at the end of the season (currently ranked 5). He has won almost 80% of points on his first serve.

The Greek's experience in big matches could help him edge past Jannik though the Italian could make the current Monte Carlo Open champion work hard for getting points.
