This will be the fifth meeting between the pair, having locked at 2-2 after the first four clashes.
The clash will be crucial in deciding the recent supremacy of the two rising stars, after Swiatek got the better of Jabuer 6-2, 6-2 in the Rome Masters.
While revenge will be on the cards, the Tunisian has got the better of the current World No.1 before, having beaten her in Cincinnati Masters and Wimbledon in 2021. The latter clash is the only occasion when they met in a Grand Slam with Jabeur wining 5-7, 6-1, 6-1.
When it comes to the hard court, the pair is again locked at 1-1 in the H2H. The first ever meeting between the pair came in the 2019 Washington DC Open where Swiatek ran out victorious. The 2021 Cincinnati Open was enough for the 28-year-old Jabeur to get the better of her opposite number.

Swiatek vs Jabeur: Player Analysis
The numbers game suggests that Swiatek has sweated more on the courts during the tournament than her opponent, which could come in handy.
Having spent nearly 11 hours on the court Swiatek will have to come out of the mental battle as she came from behind to beat Aryna Sabalenka in the semis.
She has a break point conversion rate of more than 50 percent, which again could prove decisive in the outcome of the final. Her forehand play has yielded a lot of points and will give Jabeur a strong challenge.
Contesting her second Grand Slam final of the year, Jabeur will be determined not to make the mistakes she made in the Wimbledon final. The Tunisian has so far produced some relentless piece of work having mustered 34 aces in the US Open.
She has so far dropped only one set in the tournament, showing her aggression with the racket. With 162 winners in the US Open 2022, she has bettered her opponent number by just one and has a good defense if Swaitek turns on her offensive game.

Journey so far in US Open 2022
Iga Swiatek
Twice in the entire tournament has Swiatek come from behind to win a match, having beaten Sabalenka she also beat Jule Niemeier 2-6, 6-4, 6-0 to book her place in the latter rounds.
The first week was an easy task as she got the better of Jasmine Paolini in the first round and then saw off the challenge from former champion Sloane Stephens and Lauren Davis.
The quarterfinal encounter against Jessica Pegula was expected to be a banana skin, but in the end, she had no answer to the Swaitek forehand losing 6-3, 7-6.
The semifinal clash however made it up for that as Sabalenka stretched her to the limit in an encounter lasting for more than two hours. The 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 win was the toughest that she has faced in the entire tournament so far.
Ons Jabeur
The World No.5 has been at her fluent best in the US Open 2022 as she has been impressed with her swift return winners and a healthy defense that has been hard to break.
Jabuer’s first three matches at the US Open were against fellow US stars as she swapped them one by one. She beat the likes of Madison Brengle, Elizabeth Mandlik, and Shelby Rogers in the first week, with the latter of the three being the only player to take a set from Jabuer at the US Open in a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 win.
Serena Williams’ conqueror Ajla Tomljanovic and Veronika Kudermetova gave a run for their money against World No.5 but lost in straight sets.
French star Caroline Garcia was expected to give a tough fight, but she too was sent packing in little more than an hour by Jabeur to book a place in the showdown final.
Prediction: Iga Swiatek to win in three sets against Ons Jabeur
