Bayern Munich would be looking to continue their Champions League unbeaten run as they face Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital for their Group A match on Tuesday night.

Bayern has defeated every opponent they faced as far as the Champions League is concerned and their performance in the 2019-20 season specifically was an exquisite one.

The treble winners have already qualified for the round of 16 while their opponents for this week, Atletico Madrid are yet to make it through the group stage, picking up only one win so far.

The  Rojiblancos are currently injury-ridden, with a number of key players sidelined. Ex Barcelona player and summer signing, Luis Suarez has tested positive for COVID-19 along with Arsenal loanee Lucas Torreira, you recently contracted the virus.

The talented Portuguese starlet Joao Felix and Angel Correa will have to provide the offensive output upfront to help Atletico progress through to the next round.

For the Hansi Flick side, the situation looks not so great as Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies are both unavailable due to surgery on the right knee meniscus and ligament damage in the right ankle respectively.

They will also be without Lewandowski and Manuel Neuer as the Polish have sustained an "unspecified injury" while the German skipper is rested as their progression to the last 16 is confirmed.

Players to Watch out for: 

For the La Liga side, a lot will be dependent on their attackers as Bayern may lack their offensive edge due to Lewandowski's absence. 

Angel Correa, Yannick Carrasco, and Marcus Llorente will be crucial for the Rojiblancos. For the visitors, Leroy Sane will be an exciting player to watch as he has been picking up his form recently.

Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman will be other ones to watch.

Fact Check: Atletico Madrid is yet to lose as they are unbeaten in their last eight, while Bayern Munich hasn't lost in their last 12.

The Rojiblancos have scored two in their last three games while Hansi Flick and co. have scored seven.

Wanda Metropolitano is not an easy place to win. Bayern will have to work through a victory, and without Robert, things may get messed up towards the end of the game.

Simeone's side will have to capitalize on that and make sure that they are clinical.
