David Silva to become the face of David Beckham's Inter Miami

Manchester City legend David Silva looks all set to become the face of David Beckham's Inter Miami by becoming the club's first major signing next summer, according to reports.

The Spaniard had already confirmed at the start of this season that this will be his last season for Manchester City as well as in the Premier League. The Spaniard has had a trophy-laden decade at the Etihad and has already established himself as a club legend, who will be remembered forever by the blue half of Manchester. 

Even though rumours claimed that the World Cup winner could end his career at local club Las Palmas, reports claim that Silva will ply his trade in the Major League Soccer in the United States next campaign. 

David Beckham's Inter Miami will begin their journey in the Major League Soccer from next season and David Silva is set to become to become the face of the franchise. 

It is claimed that Beckham was keen to bring in a Spanish-speaking superstar to maximise interest from south Florida’s large Hispanic community and with Silva set to end his Premier League stint, Beckham made the 33-year-old his priority target. 

Silva is a global superstar and having such a player to wear their shirts in the first ever season would truly be a major statement by the club. 

The MLS season starts in March, meaning that 33-year-old Silva will miss the first three months with his new side. He will also hope to end his Manchester City stint on a high note. 

The Citizens are already way behind Liverpool in the title race and even four points behind Leicester City, who are second-placed at the moment. It will take quite an effort from Guardiola's boys to complete their Premier League hat-trick from hereon. 

However, Manchester City are still in the Champions League and it will be a great farewell gift from Silva to the club if he can win the illustrious trophy that has never been won by the club in its history. 

The 33-year-old is now City's longest-serving player since his £25 million move from Valencia in 2010 and was given the armband for his final season at the club with long-term skipper Vincent Kompany leaving last summer for a player-manager role at his boyhood club Anderlecht.
