Real Madrid interested in signing highly rated French teenager Eduardo Camavinga

According to reports around Spain, the Los Blancos have made initial contact with Rennes to sign the young defensive midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. 

The French club values him around a staggering 84 million euros (100 million pounds). Although, Real Madrid seems not to be worried about the costly purchase as they have decided to bring the youngster to the Santiago Bernabeu by all means.

But the Whites will face stiff competition from the likes of other European giants such as Manchester United and Barcelona, who are also rumored to be monitoring the teenage sensation.

The Ligue 1 prospect has garnered the attention of several top class clubs by producing some scintillating performances for Rennes. Born in Angola, he is the youngest ever player to make a senior debut for the French Club at just the age of 16.

Eduardo made a strong impression in the league fixture against PSG where he helped his team by assisting the winning goal back in August. Camavinga performance in the midfield was noted by several clubs and this has lead him to become one of the next generation talents.

Camavinga scored his debut goal for Rennes against Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday after he held off two Lyon defenders and hit the ball past the Goalkeeper Anthony Lopes without much pressure.

The 17-year old is reportedly keen to make a big money move to Madrid but Rennes will not let him off easily until a suitable offer comes. Rennes president Olivier Letang is reluctant to sell the teenager but the Vikings are determined to add the France under-21 International to their host of Galacticos.

In the recent years, Real Madrid have invested a lot in teenage signings like Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior and Martin Odegaard, thereby generating a lot of success for the club. 

Instead of buying established players, Club President Florentino Perez has made up his mind to sign young players of impeccable talent to ensure Madrid's Greatness doesn't fade away for years to come.
