Fantasy Football Tips: UEFA Champions League 2020/21 Matchday 4

The Champions League football is back after a two-week long international break and fans cannot wait to select the best players in their UCL Fantasy teams with several interesting fixtures lined up

Several players who missed the earlier games are back fully fit and we are officially on the verge of commencing a super busy schedule until the next international break which is supposedly in March.

Until then, it is all anticipated to be ruthless and pretty risky too, considering that we have still not gotten rid of the coronavirus and any famous athlete contracting the virus doesn't shock any of us anymore.

However, the clubs have the players mostly to themselves now and hopefully we'll see lesser COVID-19 problems in future. Now let's see the matches that will be played this week.

The fixtures are pretty intense and an action-packed midweek game is anticipated. Out of these fixtures, PSG vs RB Leipzig, Inter Milan vs Real Madrid and Liverpool vs Atalanta will be the ones which are expected to produce thrilling and at the same time unexpected results.

There could be only one more thing that is more unpredictable than the results of these games, Fantasy Football. Fantasy leagues have become a new trend as every user gets a signified budget of €100m with players of his choice to be selected at every position.

Gathering huge points in your UCL Fantasy game and that too every week is close to impossible although the best tend to keep up their form throughout the season.

Let's have a look at our Fantasy team in the Champions League.

Goalkeeper: Dean Henderson (€4.9m)

The Red Devils keeper is the pick of the choice among several top keepers for this week's UCL Fantasy game as he's reliable and at the same time budget friendly.

Stefan Savic (€4.5m)

The Rojiblancos defender is a brilliant option after his performance in the game against Barcelona last weekend. As Atletico Madrid play Lokomotiv, they would look to come out with a cleansheet.

Antonio Rudiger (€4.5m)

The Chelsea centre-back is also a good option in the backline as the Blues face Rennes. Rudiger has not been the first-choice player for Frank Lampard this season in the Premier League and he would hope that a solid performance in the Champions League helps him gain more trust from the manager.

Thomas Meunier (€5m)

The Dortmund defender is economical and viable in the UCL Fantasy game and even though he's price is cheap, his value in the game is immense.

Diogo Jota (€7.5m)

The Portuguese has been a huge addition to Liverpool's arsenal this season. He has already made a mark in the Reds' history, becoming the first Liverpool player to score in his first four home games.

The midfielder can play centrally, from left or the right and thus his versatility along with a decent price tag makes him an ideal contender to score more points this week.

Not to forget, he scored his first hattrick for his new club against his this week's opposition only. (Atalanta)

Ferran Torres (€7.6m)

After entering the international break on a high note, the Spaniard did not have the best time against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last weekend. However, he had been in smoking form in the UCL and since he is more likely to start the game, he is an ideal choice.

Frenkie de Jong (€6.5m)

The Dutch has not replicated his form in Ajax quite often but everyone is aware of his potential. Barcelona were a brute force in their last clash with Dynamo Kyiv and the same is expected this time. In Busquets' absence, de Jong will have to step up and provide the balance that his Spain teammate has been providing since years.

Marcos Llorente (€6.5m)

Diego Simone was pleased when Llorente stunned the world at Anfield as they knocked out Liverpool, the defending champions of last season. Llorente had not been allotted much game time in the Spanish top-flight and that means he would be on the top in Atletico Madrid's team sheet.

Cristiano Ronaldo (€12m)

Well, you cannot leave the king of UCL out of your fantasy team and Juventus facing Ferencvaros means Ronaldo would look to score as much as possible.

His partnership with Morata has been working well for Pirlo and co. and they would hope that this game also witnesses the same efforts they saw when they faced each other last time. He will be the team captain.

Lionel Messi (€12.1m)

The Argentine is undoubtedly the second-best choice or a contender for the captain's tag and his involvements in goal only mean that he won't let his buyers go without much points.

Erling Braut Haland (€11m)

Haland, the 2020 Golden Boy has been in staggering form this season and he would not forget the fact that he first made his impact on the world in a UCL game.

One year after, he's in a better team, possessing better quality with several world-class players around. His pace and physicality makes him a favorite to score more and more goals and help his owners to make the most of him in the Fantasy game for matchday 4.
