La Liga giants eyeing 24 year old Premier League sensation

Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have sensationally joined the hunt for Aston Villa's attacking midfielder Jack Grealish. 

Both Spanish giants are tracking the exciting 24-year-old as they prepare a shortlist of targets for the summer. 

Grealish already had a long list of suitors and he will be proud that two of the biggest clubs in the world have also joined the list. 

However, interest from the Spanish duo will be a major blow to Manchester United, who have made Grealish their priority target in the number ten role at Old Trafford. 

Grealish’s excellent run of form has also alerted other big boys of England. Spurs have a long-standing interest in him and are still believed to be keeping an eye on the situation with the Aston Villa skipper. 

Meanwhile, Liverpool and Manchester City also seem to have their watchful eyes on the 24-year-old despite the fact that both have a lot of options in midfield. 

Aston Villa are said to be open to letting their skipper leave in the summer no matter they manage to stay up at the end of the season or not. 

They acknowledge the commitment and loyalty the Birmingham-born attacking midfielder has shown towards them and would honour that if the player wants to leave. 

Manchester United are understood to have prioritised Grealish’s capture above that of one-cap England ace James Maddison, 23, who is thought to be close to agreeing a new contract with Leicester City. 

But though the Red Devils would have no trouble paying any fee Villa demand, which could be as high as £60 million, they could struggle to lure him if they are unable to offer him Champions League football. 

If United fail to finish in the top four or win the Europa League, they could be beaten by their rivals for the signature of the 24-year-old. 

Grealish has even been linked with a move to rivals and neighbors Manchester City in recent weeks and they can offer him champions League football and a much more realistic chance to win silverwares. 

Pep Guardiola had nothing but praise for the Englishman when he was last asked about him. He said: "He’s incredible. A top player. 

"I’m happy he (initially) stayed in the Championship to defend his club. 

"He’s a talented player who always creates something. An exceptional player but too expensive for Manchester!"
